Wound Dressing Kit

Cork Medical’s Wound Dressing Kit is designed to work in conjunction with a NPWT device to aid and promote wound healing. All Wound Dressing Kits are comprised of the necessary components to properly dress a wound for negative pressure wound therapy. Additionally, all kits come equipped with a hermetic seal to allow patient mobility without sacrificing comfort.

Wound Dressing Kit Features

The Wound Dressing Kit’s user-friendly design allows for a simplistic application method, making it easy for physicians to take advantage of the industry’s best modality of treatment, negative pressure wound therapy.

1-2-3 transparent polyurethane film drape provides clinical breathability, excellent adherence, and has step-by-step instructions printed directly on film, for quick and user-friendly application
High tensile strength polyurethane foam is durable, flexible, and can be cut to contour a variety of wound shapes and sizes, allowing for an individualized fit
Dome-like silicone port pad design is durable enough to withstand collapsing under NPWT, yet soft and comfortable
NPWT application instructions are included on the outer pouch to allow for user ease and help eliminate user error

Wound Dressing Kit Component Specs

Components within the kit shall be used to dress a wound in conjunction with negative pressure wound therapy per the instructions of the prescriber. The kit connects to the NPWT device via a connection tube provided in the kit. Each kit is single-use and housed in a Tyvek peel pouch; inner kit components are individually pouched and sterilized by Ethylene Oxide or Gamma irradiation. Kits are available in three (3) sizes; small, medium, large:

Small Kit Includes:
- One 5” x 8” x 3/4” piece of reticulated, 30 pore per inch (PPI) polyurethane foam
- One 10” x 12” piece of transparent polyurethane film drape with adhesive backing
- One soft silicone port pad with luer lock connector and pinch clamp
- One paper ruler
Medium Kit Includes:
- One 5” x 8” x 3/4” piece of reticulated, 30 pore per inch (PPI) polyurethane foam
- Two 10” x 12” pieces of transparent polyurethane film drape with adhesive backing
- One soft silicone port pad with luer lock connector and pinch clamp
- One paper ruler
Large Kit Includes:
- One 6” x 10” x 3/4” piece of reticulated, 30 pore per inch (PPI) polyurethane foam
- Two 10” x 12” pieces of transparent polyurethane film drape with adhesive backing
- One soft silicone port pad with luer lock connector and pinch clamp
- One paper ruler
